2017/2018 Direct Entry Form Closing Date

Let start with this. As we all know, Jamb has not yet rolled out the officials sale of 2017/2018 direct entry form therefore we may not be able to tell the closing date. Usually, direct entry form do close around August every year. So let wait for when it would be released.

How much Is Direct Entry Form for 2017/2018

Since the form is not out, we won't be able to tell you the precise amount that you are to reserve for 2017/2018 diect entry. Though, in most cases, the price for direct entry is always a bit higher than that of UTME. We can therefore conclude that, since UTME 2017 is N5000, Direct entry form could be sold for N6500 or N7000.

The Reason Why You Don't Need To Wait For Direct Entry Closing Date

Apart from the fact that the form is yet to be out, it may not stay long before it close, you also have to obtain your direct entry form so fast before JAMB will close the application portal.. 

Am I To Submit Transcript To My University As A Direct Entry Student?

The sincere thing is that, Universities in Nigeria have diverse principles when it comes to submission of transcripts as a direct entry applicant to process your admission. 

Schools like University of Ilorin, Usman Danfodio University, KWASU, ABU, BUK and others does not require you to submit transcript as a direct entry applicant. While schools like OAU and others, requires it.

Therefore, in order for you to be sure of what to do in that regards, whenever the post UTME date of your school is out, the university will categorically state it that you should submit your transcripts to a particular address within the school. In case your school is silent about this, then you don't need to submit any academic transcript.

General Knowledge About Direct Entry In Nigerian Universities

Let me inform you that direct entry form is a scratch card made and sold by Jamb. It also uses banks as distributors for wider coverage and constant availability of the card.

Therefore, just like UTME direct entry form is also not what you will go and buy in any school. You must buy it in banks or jamb office and fill it online to choose your university of choice. You can choose Unilorin, Unilag, UI, Udus, ABU and any other school you want in Nigeria.

Don't send money to any one who may deceive you that the form is currently selling DE form. The only thing you will do in the school is to register for their post UTME if required by the school for admission.
