Kumuyi knocks Deeper Life choristers for wearing male jackets, worldly dance at crusade

Image
“But whatever people do to me, whatever  people do in my presence, I’ve made up my mind to continue with the heavenly vision.” The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has lambasted female choristers for wearing male jackets and dancing in 'worldly fashion' at a recent crusade held by the church. Kumuyi and some senior pastors were in Bayelsa for the ministry’s global crusade themed, ‘Full redemption for all through Christ’ where he tongue-lashed female choristers for their dressing and dance. He expressed disapproval of the female chorister’s mode of dressing and style of dancing. He said, “If you’re Deeper Life choir when you come to sing at the crusade, don’t bring that worldly dancing into the crusade where Deeper Life is organising. “And then, don’t bring all that kind of dress that I saw last night, a woman shall not put on that which belongs to a man. When you wear a jacket that I’m wearing now, that belongs to a man. “When...

The scariest manager in Premier League history is Arsene Wenger not Alex Ferguson - Referee icon, Mike Dean says

Image
?????? Iconic referee Mike Dean has revealed the toughest managers he has faced during his career as a top level referee in football.   According to Mike Dean, Arsene Wenger was the most intimidating manager he has officiated with, calling him a 'tough presence' during Arsenal games but stressed Sir Alex Ferguson was 'not that bad' despite his fierce reputation.   Dean will retire as a match day referee at the end of the season and become a full-time VAR official.   While reflecting on his career and experiences as he faced some of the top players and managers, the 53-year-old was asked who the toughest managers he has gone up against were, with many expecting him to name former Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson.    But he chose Wenger saying the french man was 'tough' on the touchline because he 'wanted the best for Arsenal' and would make life difficult for referees. 'It has to be Arsene when he was at Arsenal,' he told BBC Sport. '...

You are a goat Sir- Leke Adeboye, son of RCCG General Overseer Pastor E.A Adeboye, slams erring pastors of the church

Image
Leke Adeboye, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, has taken to his IG page to slam erring pastors of the church. Every Thanksgiving Sunday which is the first Sunday of every month, all RCCG pastors are expected to hook up with their National Headquarters where the General Overseer, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, will deliver a sermon. His sermon is expected to be the only sermon for that Sunday. However, in some parishes of the church, some pastors go-ahead to share their own messages after the GO must have spent 30 to 45 minutes delivering his own sermon.   In a post shared on his IG page this morning, Leke frowned at such pastors and went on to refer to them as goats. While some members of the church applauded him for speaking their minds, others queried him for using the word "Goat" on the erring pastors.   Read his post and the ensuing reactions below Dont forget to leave a comment thank you.

Austin Eguavoen, the Immediate past Super Eagles interim manager has admitted that Black Stars of Ghana showed they were hungrier and more determined than the Super Eagles of Nigeria to secure the ticket for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup ticket.   Both nations played home and away draws but Ghana were lucky to get the World cup ticket on the away goal rule following a 1-1  draw in Abuja after the initial goalless draw in Kumasi.   Speaking as a guest on a Supersport programme, Eguavoen apologised to Nigerians for the World Cup blackout.   “We did not play with the urgency the match demanded but they capitalize on this more than we did; they played better than Eagles in Kumasi but we played better than them in Abuja.   “Ghana’s game is always centre around the midfield and we failed to mark  Thomas Partey in that area who has the luxury throughout the match in Abuja. It is unfortunate that we lost the ti...
